The paper petals of our Fragile suspension give it a lovely transparency and a gentle play of light.
Its shape and delicate lighting invite poetry and reverie.

Its history
Our family home was near a paper mill and we were fascinated by the place. It was very busy, very lively, and time seemed to stand still.
The origins of its name
Through this suspension, we wanted to remind you how beautiful but delicate life is, and how vulnerable we are behind our air of unshakeable men.
So we borrowed the title of Sting's song and made his words our own - how beautiful but delicate life is, how vulnerable we are behind our airs of unshakeable men.
"On and on the rain will fall like tears from a star, like tears from a star
On and on the rain will say how fragile we are, how fragile we are"
Making paper
We would have liked to have made our own paper from our leftover leaves and cardboard, but the various tests didn't prove conclusive. So we decided to call on the talents of Moulin Richard de Bas, a listed historic monument in the Auvergne region of France. Its enthusiasts still produce paper by hand!
Their production adapts to the rhythm of the seasons. In winter, the Mill produces white and coloured papers.
When summer arrives, the fresh petals are picked in the morning, directly in the gardens of the Moulin, and used the same day to make paper with floral inclusions.
