The Woman suspension lamp was born of our desire to revisit a classic chandelier and give it a modern, streamlined look.
We wanted soft, voluptuous shapes, while retaining our philosophy of a responsible, accessible lamp.
The very first prototype of the future ‘WOMAN’ has been around for a long time, and although we thought it looked good, it didn't meet our specifications. It was too fragile, too complicated to assemble and, above all, it wasted a lot of material during production... so there was a lot of waste! We've included the photo for your enjoyment, but this version remained at the prototype stage.
We also tested a more elongated shape, with a more ‘wasp waist’ feel, but the shape seemed too aggressive.
After numerous tests, the current Woman was born, inspired by a woman sitting cross-legged, proud and fragile at the same time! This shape gives us greater control over our production waste and the strength of the lustre.
